BREAKING! Bukedea LCV Chairperson Granted Bail

Soroti high court has today granted bail to the Bukedea district chairperson, Moses Olemukan after paying cash of five million Uganda shillings.
Olemukan had spent four weeks behind bars at Nakatunya government prison.
It should be noted that Olemukan was arrested and remanded to Nakatunya government Prison in Soroti city on 3rd February 2022.
The arrest follows allegations that the Bukedea LCV Chairman was involved in the murder case of Francis Opolot, a resident of Akunyuko Village in Kachumbala Sub County on December 25th, 2021.
Olemukan’s bail was granted by the Soroti Resident judge, His Lordship, Peter Henry Adonyo. Olemukan will be reporting back to court on 7th April 2022 for mention of his case.
