BREAKING! ADF Rebels Have Attacked Ntoroko District, Fighting Ongoing

Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebels have attacked Ntoroko district and killed some locals in Kayanja II and Kyobe villages, in Kyapa parish.

 

The attack has been confirmed by UPDF Spokesperson, Brig Gen. Felix Kulayigye this morning, 13th December, 2022.

 

According to Kulayigye, an estimated 20-30 ADF fighters on the night of 12th, December, 2022 crossed River Semuliki into Kyanja in Ntoroko district.

 

He says UPDF intelligence got wind of them and they were intercepted.

 

“A fight is on to decisively deal with the group. 11 of them have been put out of Action. More details will be availed,” Kulayigye says.

 

However, the Ntoroko District Chairperson, Kasolo Williams, told the press that the suspected rebels have captured Kayanja II and Kyobe villages and displaced over 1500 who are with him in Karugutu village.
