A prominent businessman in Iganga Municipality and a former LCV Councilor is regretting the day he decided to take his wife for a Nursing course after a Lab Technician at a Health Center IV snatched her from him.
Hajji Abudallah Tifu Kalage has now reported a case of elopement Vide SD:70/24/06/2023 at Iganga Central Police Station against Dhakaba Emmanuel who works at Namungalwe Health Center IV.
According to the police spokesperson Busoga East Region, Diana Nandwula, preliminary investigations show that Dhakaba has rented a house at Nabitende Trading Centre where he meets Nawase Aminah, (Hajji’s wife) for their sexual activities.
Aminah was doing her internship at the same Health Center IV.
Nandawula said the file has been sent to the Resident State Attorney for legal advice but the suspect was released on police bond while investigations continue.
According the sources close to the family, Namwase has one child with Hajji Tiffu.
When this reporter contacted Hajji Tiffu, he said that he wants the case to proceed to the courts of law arguing that he has evidence that shows that they are a married couple and they went through religious marriage.
