Police in Namisindwa district are hunting for four people who attacked a money lender last night and robbed him off Shs10M.

Taitika who says police has the names of the suspects but could not divulge since the culprits are on the run also identified the money lender as John  Luwegele, 48 years of age and resident of Magale Town Council.

Taitika says the four invaded the home of the money lender at midnight and opened his door by hitting it with heavy stones until it gave way.

“The moment they entered inside, they started demanding money from him and threatened to kill him if he fails,” Taitika says.
