A prominent businessman in Iganga is in trouble for allegedly grabbing huge chunks of land belonging to Nakalama Sub County Headquarters.
According to the Iganga Resident District Commissioner, Sadala Wandera, the tycoon is identified as Hamdan Nkoobe.
Wandera revealed this last week during a meeting with security personnel at Nakalama sub county headquarters where he said that six people including Nkoobe have illegally snatched big chunks of land belonging to Nakalama Sub County and secured land titles.
The meeting was after a group of leaders within Nakalama Sub County discovered that some six other people were also already processing land titles for land belonging to the sub county.

The six are Afusa Namukose, Eva Babija (Civil Servant), Ayub Mugole Salongo, and Hajira Namukose.
