A 66 year old man has been arrested for killing his 40 year old wife for allegedly not only denying him his conjugal rights but cheating on him with other men in their marital home.
The suspect according to SCP Fred Enanga, the Police spokesperson, is Aloysius Kyeyune, a peasant and resident of Kyambogo village, Nyabitanga Sub County, Ssembabule district.
Kyeyune allegedly killed his much younger wife, Glades Nassali last week on the 8th August 2023 at about 4:00pm.
Enanga says the couple has been having a toxic relationship to the extent that they slept in different rooms.
“On the fateful day, the suspect picked a hoe and hit the victim on the head killing her instantly,” Enanga says in a statement issued today 15th August 2023.
Enanga says that preliminary investigations point to the fact that the suspect acted out of jealousy after accusing his wife of denying him his conjugal rights and cheating on him with other men in their marital home.
