A Wakiso man is in police custody for allegedly murdering his biological 2 year daughter on the 22nd August 2023.
Ssemaganda Ibrahim had separated from the Namaganda Shallon’s mother known as Makati Catherine, a 27 year old female adult, of Muyenje village Lukwanga parish in Wakiso.
According to a press statement issued on the 28th August 2023 by the police Mouth Piece, Fred Enanga, Ssemaganda on the 22.08.2023 at around 7pm, picked his daughter from the grandmother, Walusimbi Dora, a 55 year old resident of Bulenga B, village Nakabugo parish that he would take her back after a couple of hours.
“He took her daughter home and hacked her to death from the sitting room, then transferred the body to the bedroom lay it on her bed and covered her with bedsheets,” Enanga says.
He says the victim was undressed and found with deep cut wounds on the fore head.
“The suspect had separated with the victims mother Makati Catherine, a 27 year old female adult, of Muyenje village Lukwanga parish in Wakiso, about a year ago,” Enanga adds.
Ssemaganda after the gruesome murder, went and handed himself over to the defence secretary and was consequently detained at Buloba police station.
“We are going to fast track this matter through the courts of law and ensure the suspect is punished,” Enanga says
