A grandson to former Energy Minister, Irene Muloni has died in a fatal road accident that occurred last night, 28th August 2023.
Sam Muloni who was a lone occupant of the Toyota Noah registration number UBL 739Y black in color vehicle and driver was heading to Kampala from Mbale after burying his grandfather, Felix Muloni.
The deceased aged 37 years died after his car overturned several times at Jami Mailo Eight along Mbale-Tirinyi road.
According to Emily Immaculate Alaso, the Bukedi North region police spokesperson, Muloni died on the spot and that his body has been conveyed to Mbale city mortuary for postmortem.
She adds that the wreckage of the car is at Budaka Central Police Station pending IOV inspection.
So far the cause of the accident has not yet been confirmed, according to police.
