FDC Najjanankumbi Group Outlines National Executive Committee Elections Program

The Najjanakumbi FDC group’s Chief Electoral Commissioner has outlined the detailed program for its upcoming FDC NEC Elections scheduled for 6th October 2023.

 

Speaking to the press on Monday, 2nd October, 2023, Toterebuka Bamwenda Boniface, the FDC Chief Electoral Commissioner says the FDC NEC elections will take place on 6th October at Patidar Samaj Sports Ground; Lugogo – Kampala.

 

He also says that the Party is expecting to host 1271 voters who will be accredited at the Party Headquarters on Thursday 5th October 2023, starting at 9am to 5pm.

 

Others that will be accredited on the same day are Election Observers and other related persons.

“These voters were got from a total of 123 districts which actively and vigorously participated in the Party Structure Elections,” Toterebuka said.

 

The categories of voters invited for this particular election are:- District Chairperson, District General Secretary, District Secretary for Publicity and Mobilization, District Women League Chairperson and District Youth Secretary.

 

At the Constituency levels, the invited voters are Chairperson and General Secretary of whom one must be a female.

 

“We invite the different categories to be around on Thursday 5th October for Accreditation. As EC, we are prepared to handle this election with maximum respect of the FDC Electoral Guidelines and the Party Constitution,” Toterebuka said.

 

The Party Closed Nominations and elections shall take place in all vacant positions. All successful candidates will be expected to serve in respect of the Party Constitution till the end of their term in 2028.
