Two boda boda riders have been pronounced dead after being involved in a road accident.
The accident happened in the morning of Wednesday, 4th October 2023 along Malaba town road located at Amagoro B cell, Malaba town council in Tororo district.
Johnson Moses Mugwe, the Bukedi south region police spokesperson, identified one boda boda rider as Martin Ojambo adding that the second one’s identity has not been confirmed.
He adds that Ojambo who was riding KMEG 184F bajaj boxer red in colour knocked his colleague riding KMEQ 172U bajaj boxer red.
Mugwe says that the two were taken to Tororo referral hospital while in critical condition but they both died immediately after reaching the hospital.
By press time, the two bodies had been taken to Tororo referral hospital mortuary for postmortem.
