Residents of Bulyuli Cell, Bukibayi Ward, Lwakhakha Town Council in Namisindwa district are still in shock after a group of masked men armed with pangas cut a 10 year old boy’s head killing him instantly.
The weird incident happened on the night of Sunday, 21st October, 2023 at about 8:00pm when the boy in school uniform was ambushed by the panga wielding goons who after committing the murder dropped the body by the roadside and fled.
According to Deo Metsi, an eyewitness, the unknown people after murdering the boy over unknown reasons abandoned the body at the main road connecting to Uganda- Kenya border and disappeared since it was night time.
He adds that locals got the body dumped on the road in a pool of blood before alerting neighbors.
Herbert Namanuna, the father of the deceased has urged government to help him and arrest people who were behind the killing of his innocent son.
By press time, police had not yet been informed about the crime and the body was still at the scene.
