The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has responded to a letter allegedly written by the Executive Director, Dan Odongo and addressed to Head teachers informing them about impending supplementary Physics papers for O’ Level.
According to the letter which UNEB has confirmed to be fake in today’s short statement, 24th November, 2023, there were a number of mistakes made during the setting of the Ordinary Level Papers of Physics.
The fake letter was also indicating that the Board was in the process of communicating to School Heads about when Candidates were to repeat the Physics One, Two, Three and Four Papers.
However, in a terse statement, UNEB says the letter should be disregarded because it is a fake and purported announcement.
“It is NOT true. UCE /O’Level examinations ended successfully last week, and NO supplementary paper will be issued by the Board for any subject,” reads the statement.
