A fatal road accident in Kamonkoli ‘A’ Cell along Pallisa road has claimed the life of a Sheikh who was riding a motorcycle.
According to a police statement released today, 6th January, 2024, Sheikh Idi Mawazi Kemba, 48, Mugwere by tribe and resident of Kositi Kamonkoli along Palisa Road in Budaka District who was riding a motorcycle rammed into a stationery Truck, HOWO registration number UAX 837S at 8:00PM.
Sheikh Idi Mawazi Kemba was riding the motorcycle registration UEJ 357J BAJAJ BOXER Red in colour from direction of Kamonkoli along Palisa Road towards Palisa and rammed into a parked HOWO dying on the spot.
Police visited the accident scene and retrieved both the deceased’s body and motorcycle from the scene.
Motor vehicle registration UAX 837S HOWO is currently under custody and command of OC Station Kamonkoli, ASP Rwegaba.
