There was shock in Kibuku district on Thursday, 11th January, 2024 after a Boda boda rider was murdered by unknown thugs who later took away his motorcycle.
According to Samuel Semewo, the Bukedi North acting police spokesperson, the victim is known as Sepiriano Mwigo, popularly known as Magino aged between 45-50 years.
He says that the victim has been a boda boda rider at Kadama Stage, Kadama Town Council and a resident of Nabunyere A cell, Nabunyere Ward, Kadama Town Council in Kibuku District.
Mwigo’s body was found at Ryada cell in a swamp at Kadama Town Council in a pool of blood with multiple cuts on his head.
It’s alleged that the late left his stage at around 10.00pm going back to his home with his motorcycle Bajaji boxer registration number KMCG 002A when he landed on the said killer (s) who disappeared with his motorcycle.
Mwigo’s body was taken by Police to Mbale Regional hospital for postmortem.
