The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Party has released an official statement on cause of death of their Tokakwabalabala campaign song star, Adam Mulwana.
Mulwana passed on this morning, 13th February, 2024 at his home in Makindye, Kampala City after battling a long illness.
In a press statement released this afternoon, FDC alleges that Mulwana was poisoned and that the effects of poisoning affected his liver.
FDC also reveals that the body of Adam will be taken to the National Theater for the public to pay their last respects at 4:00PM while burial is scheduled for tomorrow, 14th February, 2024 at Buziranduulu – Luweero district.
FDC FULL STATEMENT
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of one of our own, Adam Mulwana, commonly known as “Toka kwa balabala”. Adam bravely battled the effects of poisoning that affected his liver until he peacefully passed away last night at his home in Makindye. He will forever be remembered for his iconic song “Toka kwa balabala”, the FDC campaign anthem of 2016. Adam’s contributions to the FDC, the Ugandan music industry, and the struggle for democracy in Uganda will be eternally cherished. Today at 4:00 pm, his body will be brought to the National theater for public to pay their last respect, with burial scheduled for tomorrow at 2:00 pm in Buziranduulu – Luweero.
