The Ministry of Public Service has released a schedule for validation of all Public Officials who were not verified by the Auditor General in 2023.
The Schedule released today, Tuesday, 12th March, 2024 shows the institution and date of validation of staff affected.
The exercise that kicked off on Monday, 11th March, 2024 at the National Archives and Records Centre (NARC)- Kampala, next to Ministry of Health Headquarters, Kampala on Lourdel Road has Abim, Adjumani, Agago, Alebtong, Amolatar, Amudat, Amuru, Amolatar and Arua DLGs being validated on the first day.
On Tuesday, 12th March, the following district local governments will be validated; Budaka, Bududa, Bugiri and Bugweri.
Wednesday, 13th March will have Buhweju, Buikwe, Bukedea, Bukomasimbi, Bukwo, Bulambuli, Buliisa, Bundibugyo, Bunyangabu, Bushenyi and Busia District Local Governments.
Thursday 14th March will have Butaleja and Butambala District Local Governments.
Friday, 15th March has Uganda Police Force and Butebo, Buvuma, Buyende, Dokolo, Gomba, Gulu, Hoima, Ibanda and Iganga District Local Governments.
On Monday, 18th March, the following DLGs will be validated; Jinja, Kaabong, Kabaale, Kabarole, Kaberamaido, Kagadi, Kakumiro, and Kalaki.
Tuesday, 19th March shall have Kalangala, Kaliro, kalungu, Kamuli, Kamwenge and Kanungu DLGs.
Wednesday, 20th March shall have Kachorwa, Kapelebyong, Karenga, Kasese and Kassanda DLGs.
Thursday, 21st March shall have Katakwi, Kayunga, Kazo, Kibaale, and Kiboga DLGs.
Friday, 22nd March will have Kibuuku, Kikuube, Kiruhura and Kiyrandogo DLGs.
Monday, 25th March, shall have Kisoro, Kitagwenda, Kitgum, Koboko, Kumi, Kwania, Kween, Kyankwanzi, Kyegegwa, Kyenjojo, Kyotera, Lamwo, Lira and Luuka DLGs.
Tuesday, 26th March shall have Luwero, Lwengo, Lyantonde, Madi-Okolo, Manafwa, Maracha, Masaka, Masindi, Mayuge, Mbarara and Mitooma DLGs.
Wednesday, 27th March shall have Mityana, Moroto, Moyo, Mpigi and Mubende DLGs.
Thursday, 28th March shall have Mukono, Nabilatuk, Nakapiripirit, Nakaseke, Nakasongola, Namayingo, Namisindwa and Mautumba DLGs.
On 2nd April, the following shall be validated; Napak, Nebbi, Ngora, Ntoroko, Ntungamo, Nwoya, Obongi, Omoro, Otuke, Pader, Pakwach, Pallisa and Rakai DLGs.
3rd April, shall have Rubanda, Rubirizi, Rukiga, Rukungiri, Rwampara, Sembabule and Sheema DLGs.
4th April shall have Sironko, Soroti and Terego DLGs.
5th April shall be the last day of validation for DLGs with the following districts; Tororo, Wakiso, Yumbe and Zombo.
Meanwhile, validation for Municipal Councils starts on 8th April with Councils Alphabetically arranged from A-L i.e from Apac MC to Lugazi MC.
9th April shall Municipal Councils Alphabetically arranged from M-T i.e from Masindi to Tororo MC.
All the Regional Referral Hospitals shall be validated on 11th of April.
All other government parastatals, organizations and MDAs will be validated on the last day 12th April, 2024.
