A man who came to the limelight by whistleblowing irregularities at National Social Security Fund has been appointed Deputy Resident City Commissioner, Arua City.
Richard J Matua revealed his appointment on X Platform on Sunday, 21st April, 2024 saying, “CONFIRMED: Am going to ARUA as Deputy City RCC to fight corruption, promote patriotism and carry out mobilization of the people to support government programs.”
Matua says he is well equipped for the job because he has worked as coordinator for Patriotism when President Museveni launched Patriotism Clubs in schools and that he also did deep ideological orientation in NALI in 2010 under Major General Henry Matsiko.
The whistleblower brags of his role in fighting corruption saying, “This has been my main angle of action in line with my duty as a Citizen of Uganda. The deep acid washing of @nssfug plus many other major anti-corruption actions.”
