The fraternity of St. Theresa Senior Secondary School In Bukedea District has experienced a bad black Sunday after receiving shocking information about the demise of one of their female teachers, Suzan Icano.
Madam Icano has been the senior English teacher for over ten years.
Icano succumbed to fibroids and passed on Sunday 28th, April 2024 at Lira hospital, a day to operation.
Fibroids are non-cancerous growths in the muscle layer of the uterus and can cause painful and heavy periods.
Mr. Charles Caesar Opolot, the St. Theresa senior secondary school head teacher today Monday, 29th April, 2024 confirmed this in an interview saying her demise is a big tragedy to the school.
He said the deceased has been a very hard working person contributing to the great performance of the school.
“It’s painful that we have lost her at the time we still need her help and support,” said Mr. Opolot.
However, we were unable to get the comment from the family members by the time of filing this story.
