A Soroti City based Pastor has today, 29th April, 2024 been arrested for admitting ailing patients in his Galilee Christ Church in Amen Ward in Soroti City West.
Police arrested Pastor Ogoba Peter after it was discovered that he had admitted ill patients at his church with assurances of healing various conditions.
The church has since been closed, and critically ill patients transferred to Soroti Regional Referral Hospital.
However, the pastor alleges that the patients he attends to failed to heal from different hospitals, including Mulago, but sought divine intervention from his church.
