This was revealed today, by the Ministry of Labour, Gender and Social Development saying the 27 are part of those who were recently pardoned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

So far, over 250 Ugandans have benefited from the pardon.
“The ministry has active plans in place to rehabilitate and reintegrate these young people into society and it also calls upon other partners in these efforts,” reads the Ministry’s statement on X.
The last batch of 34 migrant workers who were pardoned by the Saudi’s government came on November 9, 2024.
