Uganda Law Society President, Isaac Ssemakadde has been accused by Ugandan twins, Yvonne Babirye and Cynthia Nakato of using and later dumping them like hot potatoes.
In a lengthy statement shared on X today, Friday, April 18, 2025, the twins accuse embattled Ssemakadde of picking them shortly before his ULS campaigns to act as his Brand Ambassadors with promises of good salaries, travels and connections.
“He said, I want you guys to be my distractions as I make my serious moves in the background. He expressed an interest in leveraging our identity as a twin brand for potential financial benefit,” say the twins.
The girls had earlier attracted attention from prominent personalities including President Museveni because of the ‘March to parliament protests’ which they organized in July 2024.
The twins narrate how Ssemakadde used them in his campaigns and later wanted to sexually exploit them yet he never made good his promise of Shs5,000,000 monthly salary.
According to the twins, Ssemakadde’s sexual overtures started on 11th October, 2024 during a weekend retreat when he jokingly said, “Cynthia how come you don’t have kids? I am here,” which the sisters construe as meaning he was offering to father children with Cynthia.
In an interesting twist, having failed to get Cynthia to bed, Ssemakadde allegedly turned on Yvonne in December, 2024.
“During this period, Isaac began expressing romantic interest in me. I promptly informed Cynthia who advised against pursuing any such relationship, emphasizing that it would be both unprofessional and conflict of interest,” says Yvonne.
In a nutshell, the twins say because they turned down Ssemakadde’s sexual overtures, he increasingly became aggressive towards them to the extent of calling them, ‘useless whores, empty pathetic scammers, disgusting, repulsive, off putting, unstable and cheap.”
What has broken the camel’s back is Ssemakadde’s latest instruction on March, 26th 2025 to evict Vyonne from an apartment he had let her use since November, 2024.
“After collaborating with Isaac for months and sharing accommodation, he requested that I vacate his apartment within one week,” says Vyonne.
