Two unidentified deceased persons remain unclaimed for at Kayunga Referral Hospital following a fatal crash that occurred on 26th April, 2025.
According to Michael Kananura, Traffic and Road Safety PRO, the two unidentified deceased individuals, a male adult and one female lost their lives in a fatal road crash on 26th April 2025 at Nalubabwe along the Nakifuma–Kayunga Road Mukono.
Kananura’s statement dated Monday, 12th May, 2025 says that the deceased were traveling on a motorcycle reg.number UFR 930E, which is registered under the names of Mr. Isma Tandere.
They were traveling from Kayunga towards Nakifuma when they got involved in a head-on collision with a vehicle that was overtaking another car at the time and both the rider and passenger died instantly at the scene.
Police now appeals to the public who have missing relatives or friends, to kindly check with Kayunga Hospital Mortuary to assist in the identification of the deceased persons.
“Your cooperation is vital in helping us reunite the deceased with their families for a dignified send-off,” says Kananura.
