The male youth representative for Entebbe Municipal Development Forum (MDF), Gracious Mugabi Ahimbisibwe, is on run following issuance of police summon against him on allegations of cyber harassment vide CRB: 414/2025 of Entebbe Police station.
Mugabi was summoned on April 18,2025 by detective SP- Dinah Kayesu to appear before detective constable Richard Twongo to record a statement on the accusations against him. He was also instructed to appear at Entebbe police along with any relevant documents on the said allegations.
Mugabi is accused of using acid language on social media against Entebbe Mayor Fabrice Rulinda, something that angered the mayor who consequently filed a case against him.
In a letter dated April 18, 2025 issued by Entebbe CIID boss SP- Dinah Kayesu reads in parts :” The office is investigating a case of cyber harassment against you vide reference no: CRB :414/2025. The purpose of this letter is to invite you at Entebbe police station Economic desk for statement recording and come along with any relevant document regarding the alleged case.’
However, the accused person has since then defied police summons and went into hiding.
He has already relocated from his residence in Abaita Ababiri zone to an unknown location.
