The State House Anti-corruption Unit has arrested and arraigned before court two persons for illegal sale of land belonging to a deceased person.
Antonina Bwayo Nakibuuka and Nkali Kirumira Esau appeared before the Entebbe Chief Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 18th July, 2025 and were remanded until August 23, 2025.
The duo was charged with conspiracy to defraud, forcible entry, and unlawful occupation of land belonging to another.
According to the State House Anti-corruption Unit, in June 2025, at Nalugala Kitala in Wakiso District, Miss Nakibuka sold land to Nkali Esau without letters of administration. Esau went on to unlawfully and forcefully occupy land well knowing it belonged to the estate of the late George William Kyobe.
