The Minister of State for Works, Musa Ecweru, has petitioned the NRM Electoral Tribunal over last week’s primaries.
Ecweru who handed over his petition today, Tuesday, 22nd July, 2025 says losing isn’t the issue, but the process must be fair. Ecweru claimed children as young as seven were allowed to vote, calling it unacceptable.
Ecweru lost to Sam Ediau who scored 29, 352 against his 19, 977 in the Amuria County MP Seat primaries and recently told his supporters that he was going to consult widely with his bosses in Kampala before taking the next political step.
