Emma Bwayo, a journalist working with Elgon fm also doubling as Namisindwa district youth male councilor has won Namisindwa district LCV NRM party flag.
Emma Bwayo polled 121,544 representing 61.2%, his close contender and incumbent, Jackson Wakweika scored 72,957 representing 36.6%.
In his speech after declaration, Bwayo pledged to work together with his contestants for the development of Namisindwa.
He expressed his happiness with the people of Namisindwa for entrusting him with the votes and requested them to do so in the coming general election to reclaim Namisindwa.
In Manafwa district Jabi Bukeni got 46541 against the incumbent Kosea Kigayi Kimono who got 46111.
In Mbale district Tonny Wamagale has been declared for NRM flag after getting10,4229 votes then John willy Mugoma, came second with 21,639votes
At Bududa district incumbent Milton Kamoti Wasunguyi lost after getting 46,455 votes after being beaten by Geoffrey Natubu who got 105,186 votes then Benjamin Kimaswa who got 8,184 votes .
While in Sironko Nabende Guga won with 65,281vites followed by Cosima Busima who got 41,908 votes, then Sam Mudali got 10,246 votes, in Bulambuli Simon Peter Wanazofu also won the election.
