Ugandan Artist, Dan Kazibwe, a.k,a Ragga Dee has threatened to sue Michael Mukhwaya for allegedly redoing his “Nkuguddemu Oyagala Cash” song without permission.
In the intention to sue letter dated 16th July, 2025, Ragga Dee, through MDG Advocates wants Mikkie Wine to pay Shs300M compensation within 7 days or risk being sued for Copyright infringement.
Ragga Dee argues that Mikkie Wine redid his song which he copyrighted in 2004 with the only difference being the addition of, “ZUENA”, adding that this action violated his proprietary rights under the Copyright and Neighbouring Act, (CAP 222) of the Laws of Uganda.
This publication has not yet received a response from Mikkie Wine considering that the seven days ultimatum have expired.
