The Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) has released an official burial programme for the fallen Brig Gen Bonny Wolimbwa.
Brig Gen Bonny Wolimbwa passed on at Victoria Hospital in Kampala on Thursday, 21st August, 2025 due to kidney failure.
According to UPDF, the body of the fallen Comrade will be moved from General Military Hospital, Bombo, to his residence in Mafubira Village, Jinja City, for Overnight Vigil on Thursday, 28th August, 2025.
On Fri 29 Aug 2025, there will be a Church service at Oasis Miracle Centre, Jinja, followed by transfer of his body to his ancestral home in Bukyagwe Village, Sironko District, for a Vigil.
Burial is scheduled for Saturday, 30th August, 2025.
He was a longtime Commandant of the Kaweweta Training School.
