BREAKING! President’s Office Revokes RCC Washakie’s Transfer to Moroto

In a dramatic turnaround, the office of the President has revoked the recent transfer of Ahamada Washakie from Masaka City to Moroto as Resident District Commissioner.

 

Washakie was transferred on Friday, 19th September to Moroto and reported to his new duty station on Monday, 22nd September, 2025 promising to serve diligently in the new duty station.

 

However, on Tuesday, a day after he reported to Moroto, Washakie received instructions to report back to Masaka City as RCC.

 

According to him, he was recalled due to public demand by residents of Masaka City who have appreciated his work.

 

“Back to Masaka to serve,” he confirmed the cancellation of his transfer to Moroto in a brief message to our Reporter today, Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

 

Masaka Resident City Commissioner Ahamed Washaki transfer to moroto District in karamoja region has been cancelled and he is still the Resident city Commissioner for Masaka city.

 

Washakie was first appointed Manafwa District Resident District Commissioner (RDC) then transferred to Mbale City as Resident City Commissioner, later taken to Kumi District before going to Masaka.
