Shockwaves have spread across Manafwa district following the passing away of LCV Vice Chairperson, Paulo Wakabenga.
The news of his death started circulating last night on social media.
Isaac Matanda, the Speaker of Manafwa district local government confirmed the death of the vice Chairperson during an interview with our Reporter today Thursday, 20th November, 2025.
Matanda revealed that Wakabenga had been experiencing tooth problems and visited Bubulo Health Centre IV for treatment on Wednesday, where he unfortunately passed away.
He says the cause of death has not yet been confirmed, and the district is awaiting an official statement from the authorities.
The Speaker described Wakabenga as a vital and important member of the district, saying his loss is irreparable.
Wakabenga was formally working with Open gate radio located in Mbale before quitting to join politics.
