The Territorial Police in Bukedi South Region, with the help of the K9 unit, are currently searching for Onyango Paul, also known as Tata, in connection with the theft of four bulls from Emunyolet Alex’s kraal in Kamanyanga cell, Ginare ward, Magodesi Town Council, Tororo district.
The incident occurred on December 10, 2025, at approximately 6:00 AM, when the complainant discovered that the bulls were missing and reported the matter to Molo police station.
A police sniffer dog was deployed to the scene and tracked the suspect’s scent for approximately 1.5 km, leading officers to a eucalyptus forest near the main road joining Rwakaka-Magodesi Town Council, where evidence of the stolen bulls was found, including intestines, ropes, and blood stains.
The dog then led the officers to the suspect’s semi-permanent house, where a rope with blood stains and a pair of brown shoes were recovered. The suspect is currently at large, and the hunt for him is ongoing.
