Police has arrested a man for allegedly defiling his two stepdaughters aged 12 and 14 years who are both pupils in Wakiso district.
According to a police statement issued by SP Rachael Kawala, the Kampala Metropolitan Police today, Thursday, 11th December, 2025, incident happened at Nsekwa-Musisi village in Wakiso district.
She says the crime is said to have occurred between June and October 2025 but the matter was reported to Wakiso Police Station on December 8, 2025, at 12:00 PM.
Preliminary investigations reveal that the suspect, Ssentamu Edirisa, allegedly took advantage of the victims while their mother was away at the market, and shared a single room with them. The 14-year-old victim is reportedly pregnant.
“We strongly condemn such acts of sexual violence more so by parents and guardians that these girls victims look to,” says Kawala adding that a case of aggravated defilement has been opened, and investigations are ongoing.
