Police has confirmed that they have picked leads from a video that has gone viral showing a woman claiming Okello Onyum, the Ggaba Day Care Centre Killer murdered her child in 2019.
In the video, the woman who only identifies herself as Flo from Bwaise, claims after the murder, Kibuli Police frustrated the case telling her that the Case File in question had disappeared.
Flo claims that Okello killed her one year and three months old child and the case was registered at Kibuli Police Station VIDE SD: 003/19.
However, addressing the media today, Tuesday, April 7, 2026, ACP Kituuma Rusoke, the Police Spokesperson says, police has picked interest in the video allegations and are pursuing it.
“There is a video of a woman who alleges that the suspect murdered her child and somehow got off the hook. We have picked interest in that matter too,” says Rusoke adding that police’s ultimate objective is to see that the victims get justice and hold the perpetrator accountable.
Meanwhile, he says the case file against Onyum in the heinous murder of four infants at Ggaba Day Care Centre is being processed for onward submission to the Office of Director of Public Prosecutions for perusal and advice.
