CONFIRMED: President Museveni’s Swearing In Date Set

The swearing date for President Yowweri Kaguta Museveni has been set for 12^th May, 2026.

This has been confirmed by the Executive Director, Uganda Media Center, Allan Kasujja in an official statement dated 8^th April, 2026.

“The ceremony will be at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds under the Theme, Protecting the Gains, Making Qualitative Leap into Middle- High Income Status.

Sources close to the organizing committee say over 50 Heads of State are expected to grace the function.

The organization for the event is being led by Permanent Secretary in the Office of the President, Hajji Yunus Kakande.
