The Nsangi Division Police have apprehended 11 horny Men over rape and aggravated robbery. The ugly incidents occurred in the early hours of Tuesday on July 28,2026, in Nakirama Cell, Kyengera Town Council, Wakiso District.
It’s reported that at around 4:00 a.m an unidentified assailant allegedly broke into a woman’s shop before attacking her with a knife, and reportedly demanded money and threatened to inflict grievous harm if the victim failed to surrender everything.
After the robbery, the attacker allegedly raped the victim before fleeing the scene.
However the victim managed to move and reported the attack at Kikajo Police Post, prompting an immediate response police officers who visited and processed the crime scene alongside a police sniffer dog, TP 297 Sofia, which was introduced at the victim’s bedroom, where the attack had occurred.
The canine successfully picked up a scent trail and tracked it for approximately one kilometre before leading investigators to a nearby bar, where the suspects were found while too drunk.
Officers noted that during the scent identification, the sniffer dog indicated one of the individuals by sitting beside him, prompting officers to arrest all 11 people who were present for further scrutiny.
The suspects were taken into custody at Kikajo Police Post, where they’re currently detained as detectives continue with investigations.
