Ugandan rapper Da Agent is exploring a more playful and catchy side of his artistry with the release of his new single Daddy Daddy, a song built around a memorable hook and his signature high-speed rap delivery.

The track, which made its first public appearance on NBS After 5 on July 28, 2026, introduces listeners to a lighter, entertainment-focused sound while maintaining the energetic Lugaflow style that has defined Da Agent’s career.

Unlike some of his previous releases that focused heavily on street narratives and cultural themes, Daddy Daddy embraces a fun and rhythmic approach, centred around a repeated chorus that has already attracted attention from fans online.

The song features Da Agent’s trademark rapid lyrical flow, a technique that has earned him recognition as one of Uganda’s fastest rappers. His ability to deliver complex Luganda verses at high speed has become a key part of his identity in Uganda’s hip-hop scene.

Born Ivan Wabwire, Da Agent rose to fame in the mid-2010s with songs such as Akadodi and Nturika, helping popularise his Lugaflow Lufulaa style — a blend of Luganda rap and cultural influences drawn from his Gishu heritage.

With Daddy Daddy, the rapper continues his effort to keep his sound fresh while connecting with a wider audience through a song designed for entertainment, performances and social media engagement.

The release follows a series of promotional teasers shared online in July, leading up to the official launch of the music video on his YouTube channel, DA AGENT OFFICIAL.

As Uganda’s music industry continues to expand across digital platforms, Da Agent’s latest release adds another chapter to his journey of promoting Lugaflow while experimenting with different themes and sounds.
