Parents of Musiye government aided primary school located at Buwambwa Sub County in Namisindwa district has been locked out of office by angry parents.

The parents locked out Wilfred Masabi yesterday, 8th February, 2023 over poor performance.

Musiye Primary had 12 pupils in division two and 50 failed during 2022 primary living Examination which provoked parents.

Sam Matsanga, one of the parents in the school accused the head teacher of having poor relationship with teachers and not calling for annual general meeting which led to the poor performance.

He adds that they want the Namisindwa District Education Officer to transfer this head teacher and bring for them another one.

Moses Muyela, the LC3 chairperson of Buwambwa Sub County has condemned parents’ action and urged parents to use legal ways of dismissing the head teacher than locking his office.

Meanwhile, Sophie Kuloba Namutosi, the acting district education officer of Namisidwa district has appealed to the parents to remain calm saying she is going to make transfers of head teachers this week and that their head teacher might be one of them.
