A Post Bank official arrested last year by the State House Anti-Corruption Unit over charges of Abuse of office has today, 16th June 2023 been arraigned before the Anti-Corruption Court, Kololo.
Mr. Nahurira Danson, a Credit Officer at Post Bank is alleged to have been soliciting for money ranging between UGX1M-2M to issue financial cards to people with loans in order to enable them acquire other loans in Post Bank and other banks.
Nahurira was arrested in July 2022 for fraudulently processing & issuing financial cards to people.
He has been remanded until 23rd June 2023 when he will re-appear in court for hearing of his bail application.
