Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) has officially launched banking services operations at Sino Mbale Industrial Park.
The commissioning of DTB Banking services took place on Wednesday, 14th February, 2024.
While commissioning, employees in Mbale Industrial Sino Park were asked to embrace proper management and use of their finances.
This call was made by Samuel Matekha, the Marketing and Communications officer for Diamond Trust Bank (DTB).
Matekha says that the opening up of the new Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) branch in industrial park is to help more than 30,000 employees to bank and save their money other than using it extravagantly.
In his interactive question to the daily income earners in industrial park whether they embrace daily savings, the majority responded that once given their money, it is totally consumed on their daily needs.
He advised the employees to make their daily savings with DTB and this will make them develop financially and come out of poverty.
Varghese Thambi, the managing director of Diamond Trust Bank says the aim of opening up the branch is to enable the workers in over 40 industries found in Industrial park to access quick banking services.
John Rex Achila, the Resident City Commissioner Mbale City has applauded Diamond Trust Bank for the good initiative.
He adds that Mbale Industrial Sino Park has so far created Job opportunities for many youths in Mbale City and other areas which has improved on their standards of living and called upon students in tertiary institutions to apply for Industrial Jobs that require skills after completion of their courses.
