KAMPALA: Police Arrests 12 Hardcore Japadhola Gangsters

KAMPALA

Police has arrested 12 hardcore criminals in Mukono district going by the name Japadhola Crew.

According to Police statement issued on 11th October, the 12 were arrested in a pre-dawn operation on October 10, 2024

The gang has been notorious in house-breaking and robbery terrorizing residents in Kyungu cell, Nsuube Kauga ward, Mukono central Division.

The suspects were identified as; Opio Max, 26, loader at Namanve industrial area, Orach Alex, 26, casual worker, Ochen Joseph (aka Snake), 22, casual worker and Ochara Patrick, 25, brick maker.

Others are Omita Richard, 34, cobbler/shoe maker, Lubanga Dickson, 18, casual worker, Oboth Thomas, 42, casual worker.

Their accomplices who were also arrested are Bogere Korea, 40, peasant, Ebeli Steven, 28, peasant, Ndeke Michael, 37, UPDF soldier attached to Uganda railway line, Nabende Gerald, 29, peasant and Nakitende Prossy, 30, bar attendant and opium seller.

“The Japodola crew has been linked to multiple cases of aggravated robbery, house break-ins, and burglaries in Nabuti cell, Nasuti, Dandira, and Wantoni,” reads the police statement.
