The 2021 Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) District Woman MP Flagbearer has officially crossed to the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Party.
Susan Asao who came last in the 2021 general elections only managed 2964 votes, losing to NRM’s Ayoo Jennifer Nalukwago Who got 16, 489 votes. Runner up was Independent candidate, Ajilo Maria Gorreti Elogu who garnered 15,738 votes.
The crossover was announced by NRM’s Eastern Region Vice Chairman, Capt. Mike Mukula today, Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
“I officially received Madame SUSAN ASAO former FDC Aspirant kalaki MP district to our revolutionary party unconditionally and she is very excited about it .Thousands of the @FDCOfficial1 supporters in Kalaki district will be received in due course,” tweeted Mukula.
Asao’s defection follows former Sironko District Woman MP FDC flagbearer, Femiar Wadada crossing on Wednesday, 12th February, 2025.
