Uganda National Examinations Board, (UNEB) has responded to Social Media reports that the Executive Director, Dan Odongo has resigned his duties.
In a brief statement on X today, Wednesday, 15th May, 2025, the National Examining body says the reports are not only false but intended to damage the image of UNEB.
“Pse disregard misleading reports on social media indicating that Mr. Dan Odongo, the UNEB ED has resigned from his duties. This is unfounded and baseless, and is intended damage the image of UNEB,” reads the brief statement.
A glimpse into the alleged Social Media post, shows a headline reading, “Dan Odongo Resigns from Uneb after introduction of new curriculum.”
This post which is attributed to a one Mrs. Updates is what UNEB denies.
