Monday, 28th April, 2025 marked a remarkable occurrence that saw Uganda’s Permanent Representative to United Nations being sworn into Cabinet by the Vice President, H.E Jessica Alupo.
It is not always that Ambassadors are appointed or become part of Cabinet, therefore Ayabare’s appointment is testimony of his diplomatic expertise and intellectual contributions.
Shortly before his appointment, he brought into the country representatives of Elon Musk’s Starlink who met the President and finalized plans of launching the Internet service in Uganda.
It is such contributions not only on the Diplomatic scenes but economic scenes that set Ayabare aside signaling his potential elevation to a cabinet role.
Ayebare’s distinguished career in international diplomacy, particularly at the UN, is praised as an asset for Uganda’s global engagements and regional influence that places him at the center of global economics and power
