An Ex-husband has butchered his former wife of two children after the deceased relocated to Malaba leaving him behind in Namayingo district.
The incident happened on Sunday, 1st June, 2025 at 8:00AM in Amagoro B Cell, Malaba Town Council Tororo District.
According to the Bukedi South Regional police Spokesperson, IP Moses Mugwe, Ivan Osire, a resident of Namayingo district sneaked to Malaba and cut Nyadoi Angela, 28 years on the neck while she was washing clothes, killing her instantly.
Eyewitnesses say, the incident occurred while the deceased’s new husband, one Lambert was in their room, but upon hearing the struggle, he ran out of the room and grabbed the suspect while alarming, which prompted neighbours’ response that resulted into the arrest of the suspect.
Mugwe says that preliminary investigations, Nyadoi Angela (deceased) allegedly got married and produced two children with one Osire Ivan (suspect) and they were living in Namayingo District.
This is where the deceased was teaching in a private Primary School but upon getting a government School (Mella primary school) she decided to re-locate with her two children to her current address where they have lived for about two years leaving her husband in Namayingo District.
He adds that while in the new address, she stopped the assailant (husband) from coming to her new place.
It was further found out that the deceased had another man with whom she was now cohabiting with at the time of the murder
This heinous act was reported by the GISO Malaba ,one Aganas Ali.
Meanwhile, the body was conveyed to Tororo Municipal Mortuary pending postmortem.
