The couple who lost their children in fire inferno have been ranked as party animals in Entebbe and that their lives depended much on partying and allegedly had little time to attend to their children.
At the time the innocent children died in fire inferno, Julie Nalubwama was partying at Dollar’s springs hotel, a popular hang out in Kawafu/Abaita Ababiri town, Katabi Town Council, Wakiso district. A regular partier at this hangout place intimated to this reporter that on the fateful night, he saw Nalubwma tanking booze and being squeezed by horny men as they enjoyed some dancing strokes.
It’s reported Nalubwma left Dollar’s springs hotel in the wee hours of Friday morning on August 15,2025, but only to be welcomed at her residence by a huge smoke as her tenants tried to put everything to order at the scene of the burnt house.
A source told us that one of the children who is a boarder had just returned from school a day before all the three children died in fire inferno which is said to have been caused by an electric short circuit.
A source also told us that Lenon Kavuma -a wealthy fish trader met Nalubwma in one of the bars in Entebbe. It’s said since both are party animals they agreed to continue with their life style even when they got married to each more than a decade ago.
It’s said after enjoying Nalubwma’s waterlogged pot, Kawuma decided to add her to his two wives and she is his third wife. He went ahead to construct her some rentals on which has been residing with her departed children.
Vigil held last night on August 15, 2025.
A vigil was held last night for departed children at Kavuma’s ancestral home adjacent to the scene of the burnt house. During the vigil, mourners blamed Nalubwama for being negligent to the extent of failing to hire a housemaid who would take care of her children during night hours when she is away clubbing.
Nalubwama and her hubby Kavuma never responded to the drunkard mourners as the couple kept on sipping liquor till morning.

A tentative burial arrangement program was released and it was agreed that the three children will be buried today August 16, 2025 at 4pm at Kintu cemetery in Mpala zone near the scene of the burnt house. Kintu cemetery is the official burial site for tycoon Kavuma.
On the morning of August 15,2025, residents of Mpala zone in Katabi Town Council ,Wakiso district, woke up in shock following the death of three children who died in the fire inferno in the wee hours of Friday morning.
Neighbors said the children’s mother Julie Nalubwama had locked them inside the house and she had gone out for night clubbing when the fire happened claimimg lives of innocent children identified as Ellah Namiiro aged 12, Amani Namulema 5 and Namujju Tamale 3.
The Kampala metropolitan deputy police spokesman, ASP Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed the incident revealing that investigations into the matter had kick-started.
