BREAKING! FUFA Doubles Uganda Premier League Prize Money

FUFA has more than doubled Uganda Premier League Prize money for the 2025/26 season.

In a statement released on its X Handle today, 10^th September, 2025, FUFA says the prize money for the winner that was at Shs60M will now be Shs100M.

The Team that comes second will walk home with Shs62M up from Shs20M, and 3^rd placed team will bag, Shs56M up from a mere Shs9.6M.

4^th placed team will now be able to pocket Shs50M up from the previous Shs7M, 5^th place Team will get, Shs44M up from Shs5M, 6^th placed team will get Shs40M as compared to the previous Shs4.4M and 7^th placed will earn Shs34M up from Shs4M.

The team that comes No. 8 will get Shs35M from the previous Shs3.5M, 9^th Placed Team now gets Shs27M from Shs2.8M, 10^th placed Team earns Shs23M up from Shs2.5M.

The rest will earn as follows; 11^th position-Shs21M, 12^th position-Shs17M, 13^th position-Shs13M, 14^th position-Shs9M, 15^th position-Shs4m and 16^th position will be able to walk away with Shs2M from a mere Shs500,000 previously.
