SOROTI
Kumam Cultural Heritage (KUCH) has procured a brand-new 20-seater vehicle to enhance the kingdom’s mobility and strengthen its activities across Kumam communities.
According to His Highness, Won Ateker Raphael Otaya, the vehicle branded with the rich cultural identity of the Kumam people will serve as a vital tool in advancing the kingdom’s programs.
He noted that it symbolizes progress and unity as KUCH works toward its mission of creating resilient livelihoods and preserving Kumam heritage.
Kumam Cultural Heritage has a primary mission to empower households by increasing incomes, improving food security, and enhancing overall well-being as part of the fight against poverty.
Beyond socio-economic transformation, the organization is equally committed to safeguarding Kumam traditions, cultural practices, indigenous skills, and community values.
While unveiling the vehicle to media, on Friday, 19th September, 2025, His Highness said this will not only ease transportation for cultural initiatives but will also ensure that KUCH can effectively reach communities with development programs, training sessions, and cultural conservation activities.
