Uganda National Examinations Board, (UNEB) has spoken out on the Economics Paper 2 that S.6 candidates sat for on Tuesday, 11th November, 2025 but dated Nov/Dec 2024 at the top left.
The mistake has taken the public by surprise with many suggesting UNEB could have recycled last year’s paper. However, the same paper is correctly dated at the bottom as 2025 Uganda National Examinations Board.
However, in a brief communication by the UNEB Executive Director, Dan Odongo also dated 11th November, 2025, the paper should have been dated, 2025.
“Please take note that the year should read 2025, and not 2024 as is on the examination paper,” reads Odongo’s letter adding that, “The Candidates should proceed with the paper.”
