PALLISA
The NRM chairperson for Pallisa district Derrick Orone could not control his excitement over the delivery of 100% NRM Members of Parliament and 86% vote for President Museveni on Friday.
Orone with company of his vice chairperson, Ibrahim Ibrahim Aisu drove around Pallisa town with over 4,000 supporters chanting songs and slogans of victory as he was seen on vest swaying his shirt with anxiety.
In his press briefing after the declaration of his victory as the new elect Member of Parliament for Gogonyo County, Orone said he had reason to celebrate with wrappers around his waist dancing on top of the vehicle to show the entire world his heroism.
“Pallisa has had a number of NRM chairpersons but none of them had ever delivered 100% MPs of NRM party to parliament and made Museveni score over 70%, but I have set a record nobody can break, I accepted to be hated until I delivered all the NRM candidates to win and make President Museveni get 86%,” Orone said.
Orone said people of Pallisa who are not happy with his mobilization abilities will live to stomach his comments painfully when he said his brain is at the extreme when it comes to political mobilization and whoever doubts should realize from the wave that swept all those who stood against NRM.
Orone applauds all the NRM party structures who committed themselves to undergo intensified grassroot mobilization.
