MAYUGE
The territorial police in Mayuge have arrested a one Binasali Mulondo 30 for allegedly assaulting and murdering a 17-year-old juvenile.
The deceased has been identified as Ntale Kyendi, resident of Lumbo Village, Buyemba Parish, Bukatube Sub County Mayuge District.
According to ASP Michael Kasadha, the Busoga East Regional Police Spokesperson, the incident occurred at Buyemba B village, Buyemba parish, Bukatube Sub County in Mayuge district.
It is alleged that on Saturday, 31st January, 2026 at around 10:00pm, Mulondo went to the home of the deceased in Lumbo village, picked him and took him to his home, from where he assaulted him on allegations that he had stolen his rice.
The deceased was allegedly assaulted to the point of becoming unconscious. A Good Samaritan responded to the scene and offered to rush him for medical attention and while on the way, he passed on.
